You work in or for the energy sector. This means that you encounter situations which can endanger your health and safety. In this Health and Safety Catalogue you will find the arrangements which the employees and employers have made in order to limit the risks to a minimum. What you have to do yourself to work safely and what you may expect from your employer is described per risk
How does it work?
Click left in the menu on Electricity, Gas or Heating. Then you choose the work that you do from the list of the work activities. Thereafter you immediately see the risks which you encounter there and the measures that you, as employee, must take and the measures which the organisation must take. Two advance comments:
- The Health and Safety Catalogue describes the arrangements which the companies in the energy sector have made with each other in order to reduce risks. It is possible that supplementary rules apply in your company. Your employer or the contractor is obliged to inform you about these rules. It is important that you also check this for yourself.
- Currently the Health and Safety Catalogue does not give a complete picture at this time, as not all activities, risks and measures are described. The content of the Health and Safety Catalogue will continue to grow in the coming period. It will also be actively checked whether changes are necessary as a result of developments in the sector or changes in legislation and regulations. When the Health and Safety Catalogue is supplemented or amended, the HSE Departments of the companies are informed.
